Really cute and romantic

This journal makes a great gift for that someone special in your life. The prompts are really cute and romantic. It asks questions about the other person (what they like, don't like, etc.). It also has more creative questions like
"If our relationship was a novel, the title could be"
and
"If there were a website that captured the essential "us" it might be called: [...]
There are no sexual questions which is nice because you can show the book to your children.
If giving it as a gift, I would suggest getting it a few months in advance to have time to fill out all the questions. Another plus about this book is that it offers ample lines for your answers (there are even some checklists).
There are areas to put pictures and on the back cover there is a flap that widens pretty well so you can put notes or more pictures or something. The book has a ribbon bookmark - but be careful, it will indent the pages if it isn't exactly straight in between them. There is also an elastic band on the back cover you can use to keep the book shut. The hearts on the front and back of the book are embossed so it gives the book a nice textured feeling. I also like that it is red and gold and not pink because I am giving this to my husband.
At the start of a new section, the author puts a love quote from a movie - a really nice touch in my opinion.
The book lays flat without messing up the binding so it makes it easier to write.
Beware! Markers will probably leak through on the other side. I bought gel pens for this journal. It allows me to change up the color of writings and does not go though to the other side.
Overall, the book is elegant and romantic. A MUST BUY. If you are looking for a journal to give to your significant other, look no further, it is here and this is it.
Note: My book's front cover was a bit dented in the front. I'm not sure if it happened during shipping or what. I didn't return it, but I just thought I would share.

Perfect for an anniversary or valentine gift

So.... February 14th is a double whammy of a date for me.... its valentines day AND my 1st wedding anniversary. I was in search of something unique and special for my husband when I came across this particular book.
I will start off by saying, there is nothing corny, sickly sweet or sexual about the journal. Its a personal, loving, heart felt account of how you feel about your partner. It is very unisex in design, and would make a great love token to a male or a female. The book is of a wonderful quality, deep red in color (not a hint of pink anywhere if this is a gift for a man), its hard back and has embossed love hearts on the front and back cover.
I loved the set out of the journal, after each chapter there is a page to include extra thoughts, notes, photos and memories. Some examples of the contents are:
*Our perfect day together would be....
*At least 2 things that have improved in my life since we met...
*The best advice you have ever given me is....
*You bring out the best in me, specifically....
*something we both admire in each other...
*our most romantic moment was...
*something I know about you that the rest of the world doesn't...
*A significant milestone in our relationship...
*Most memorable event adventures together...
The pages go on and on...its amazing value for money. The only thing I would recommend is ordering this a good 1-2 months before you are planning to give it to a loved one. There are a lot of pages to work through and lots to think about!!!

Wonderful Product! Recommended as an Anniversary gift from you to your spouse!

I bought this HARDCOVER copy as something me and my husband of 5 years could do together to remember our journey as it happens. It's incredibly well made and has a lot of questions in it that no one would ever think to document. Unfortunately, it is geared to be a "to you from me" type of journal, but if you're creative you'll make it work for you and your partner. This product is fantastic! I would definitely recommend buying 2, one from you to your spouse and one for you from your spouse.
Pros:
Superior craftsmanship, made of grade A materials, very sturdy
Tons of unique questions to record your relationship in great detail
Has a pocket in the back to store favorite pictures of you two together
Has a book marker so you don't lose your place writing or reading
Cons:
Set up to be from one spouse to the other, not originally created for joint writing (but creative people can get around that)
